My wife took this picture when I was throwing some flat stones on the lake. Once you start throwing stones which bounces multiple times, its an addiction… 🙂 You want to keep throwing more and more and see that happen.
I like this picture a lot… It was nice to have the horizon in the picture too… the camera was on Sports Motion mode and took multiple shots to get this one good shot.

A pic from a little pond at the Pittsburgh Zoo. The waves looked like a round table and all a circular formation by the fishes looked like they had a meeting… 😉

For the first time in 4 years (since I came to the US) we went to Lake Erie for the labor day weekend. It is just a couple of hours drive from Pittsburgh. It is a must see place if you live in east coast…
We consciously went there in the evening to watch sunset… This is one of the pics I shot there. You can also see a little seagull in the water on the Sun’s reflection.

The cherry blossom festival in Washington DC is a true spectacle. I was fortunate enough to be one of the millions who visit DC every year during this time. If you ever get an opportunity you should visit this place… The prime blossom stays just for 3 or 4… So plan well in ahead.
Now about this picture… This picture is a panoramic view of the tidal basin. The cherry trees are basically all along the banks of the tidal basin… I took several pics and stitched them together in Photoshop Elements. You can see the Washington Monument to the right and the Jefferson memorial to your left. One of the things I like about this picture is the depth that you see on the sky almost giving a 3D effect.

The below picture is a macro shot of a cherry blossom bunch… there was a little bud that was waiting for its turn… It was almost as if the little bud was a child sitting tight under its mom..

I hope you like them…
