Lake Mead Panoramic View

This is Lake Mead on top of which Hoover Dam has been built. This view actually a couple of miles away from the actual dam where you can see this from an observation spot. The view is simply fantastic… Especially on a sunny day with a cool breeze sweeping through, it is simply amazing.

Since I took this pic using a 18 – 55 mm I had to take multiple pics and stitch them to get this panoramic view. I really enjoyed a couple of things about this picture – You can see the impact of the wind blowing over the lake that forms patches of waves… that was really cool. Also each of the pics had these huge high grid wires that carry electricity from the dam.. When I stitched these pics, they got perfectly stitched to form that straight line…

I hope you liked it..

  1. Nice work! … Am curious to know how you “stitch” the photos together. I suspect you have a special program for that … Thanks for following my blog “Eyes to Heart.” … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
