A morning walk at Besant Nagar Beach

I recently went for an early morning walk at the Besant Nagar Beach, Chennai. The mood was just perfect… It had rained the previous night so it was easy to walk on the sand… The early morning sun, was mostly covered by clouds and he took a glimpse at the beach a few times but was mostly hiding…

Here are some of the pics I took during my walk that kind of summarizes the routine at the beach in the morning.

A couple of friends sitting on the beach and chatting.

Well someone has got to clean the garbage that some human idiots leave behind…

A hawker’s cart rapped up. its almost as if the cart is sleeping tight after a busy night… 🙂

The homeless sleeping on the beach… Well you see both dogs and people…

This is really the highlight… You will get to see a lot of oldies having a conference… The wide variety of topics they discuss is mind boggling. This is my wife’s favorite from this collection.

What is a beach collection without pics of the actual beach, some waves, the fisherman, etc… Here you go..

Please click on the images for more clarity.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you liked the pics, do leave your comments… Cheers!

Inverter Light

With frequent power cuts, this is pretty much the saviour during Summer (from heat) and Winter (from mosquitos). It is almost a must have in urban India. But still majority of India is reeling in power crisis with villages and rural area not having power for almost 6 hours a day.

7 Wonders of the World in Chennai India

Spell Bound presents 7 Wonders of the world @ Island Grounds, Chennai India. We visited this place last week and it actually not bad. It was a good effort.

The only disappointing wonder was the Great Wall of China. The actual walk way leading to each of the wonder was apparently the Wall but I did not realize that until I asked someone. Here are the pics of 7 wonders from Chennai.

The Entrance

The Rome Coliseum

Christ the Redeemer – Brazil

El Castillo – Yucatan

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Statue of Liberty

Taj Mahal the Great – This is the highlight of the show. They had done a fantastic job with this one.

One view covering most of the 7 wonders

I hope you enjoyed the pics. Please do leave your comment. I would love to hear from you. Cheers!
